Candidate will manage material programs for DARRAN with leading fabric and leather alliance partners. Preferred experience in contract seating with customer administration services including order entry, order services, manufacturing coordination, product development and warranty.

Position Summary:
- Analyze facility layouts and product flows to identify areas of improvement and solutions to problem areas.
- Diagnose supports Systems including scheduling, procurement, and coordination to ensure overall performance and efficiencies are realized.
- Evaluate labor and material costs to ensure most efficient and effective materials and processes are in place.
- Evaluate quality control methods and ensure related rejections are fully analyzed for resolution and elimination of reoccurrence.
- Assume active leadership in communicating between operation support groups and all levels of manufacturing labor force.
- Ensure scheduling demands can be met through proper employee staffing, training, and organization.
- Lead strategic manufacturing planning and implementation for lean manufacturing methods to ensure maximum efficiencies are achieved while leveraging new technology, advanced construction methods, and changing workforce demographics.
Experience / Skills:
- Finished wood products engineering background preferred.
- 2 years management leadership experience preferred.
- Ability to communicate and motivate change to all levels of work force.
- Strong computer skills including AutoCAD required (Experience in Solid Works is helpful).
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering and 5 years minimum engineering experience required.
- Six Sigma experience required.
- Excellent communication skills required.

DARRAN Furniture Industries, a leading Office Furniture and Seating Manufacturer, is seeking applicants for the position of Customer Service Representative at our High Point, NC facility. Excellent compensation and benefits available! DARRAN’s Customer Service Representative is vital to the company’s success by providing excellent service to both internal and external customers throughout all quoting, ordering, shipping and warranty processes on a daily basis.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Communication via email, phone, and fax with field sales reps and customers.
- Assist Customers by answering product questions and providing price quotes on products.
- Assist Sales by promoting new products and programs.
- Develop strong Customer bonds by providing dependable service through communication timeliness, quote timeliness and overall understanding of product and processes.
- Provide leads and customer information to Internal and External Sales Departments, for project follow-up.
- Assist with the processing and proofing of orders to ensure correctness of goods and discount.
- Provide detailed shipping information to customers when requested and schedule critical orders as needed with Manufacturing.
- First line contact on Freight and Warranty issues.
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma Required
- 3+ years of customer service experience preferred
- Experience in Furniture Manufacturing / Office Furniture a plus
- Experience in Office Suite required
- Experience with CAP/Giza, 20/20 A Plus
