DARRAN Introduces All New Rift, Area, & Posh Collections At 2012 NeoCon.

DARRAN Furniture launches All New Rift Casegoods Collection, Area Lounge, & Posh Executive Seating with 2012 NeoCon.
 
RIFT was designed by David Allan Pesso and developed to meet the needs of the changing work environment.  Developed for DARRAN’s ‘Design Build’ platform, RIFT can support multitasking, focused individual work, knowledge sharing, and collaboration in both private offices and open spaces.  The collection’s modern, linear and minimalist aesthetic was inspired by Mies Van der Rohe’s Seagram’s Building and the tenants found in the 20th C. International Style. It places an emphasis on the honest and rational expression of materials and functionality.
 
AREA was Designed by John Stafford/Chris Carter Design, LLC the flexible collection features both freestanding and modular lounge options.  Sleek and elegant, AREA lounges can range from circular to serpentine.  In fact, an innovative 30/40/90 degree curve system makes configurations limitless.  Complementary circular units have tabletops and mobile tablet units with handles.  System benches offer a variety of storage table options.  Coordinating wood cubes feature built-in flower vases, plus magazine and storage units.  Like all DARRAN furnishings, AREA was designed using DfE [Design for the Environment] protocol to minimize the environmental impact.
 
POSH, a new conference and task seating solution MADE-IN-AMERICA and created by their talented design partners at John Stafford/Chris Carter Design LLC.  The clean lines and crisp detailing of POSH make it a chair that can work in any office setting.  It features signature channel back-stitching on the high-back version as well as a variety of arm options including armless, adjustable t-arm, urethane and upholstered.  The mid-back version is ideal for management or conference applications.  Bases are available in aluminum or powder-coated finish.
