DARRAN Awarded The FSC Chain of Custody Certification

DARRAN Furniture announces it has been awarded The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) Chain of Custody (CoC) Certification (SCS-COC-003765).  FSC standards represent the world's strongest system for guiding forest management toward sustainable outcomes.

DARRAN's president, Jennifer Hollingsworth says, "Not only do we have a responsibility to our customers to manufacture quality office furniture, but also to be good stewards of our environment.  We're excited to be a part of FSC's efforts to better manage our forests."

The FSC Chain of Custody System tracks FSC certified material through the production process – from the forest to the consumer.  Many of DARRAN's office solutions are now available as FSC certified products when specified by the customer.  FSC products enable businesses and organizations to earn Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) points for particular projects to minimize their impact on the environment.
